At the beginning of the year I saw the Daily Post had a challenge or a personal challenge for anyone who wanted to post every day.

I had, for the last two months of 2011 posted every day, so I thought, how hard can it be. I decided to put the image on my blog and vowed to do a post a day. I am happy to say that I did this. I didn’t miss one day. It wasn’t always easy and some days I thought, nah, won’t worry about it, but couldn’t let it go and I always found something to blog about.
Posting every day has been a very rewarding experience for me. I found that having that pressure to do a post a day meant I had to go out and find things to photograph. I had find ways to keep the blog interesting, not just for you, but for me as well. I have really enjoyed doing it, and no doubt will continue in 2013. I worry that the day I miss will be the end and it will go downhill from there.
For you today I have just images really. These are some of my favourites from the year. I hope you enjoy seeing them again.

It has been an incredible year. I have developed my photographic skills and I have been given some wonderful opportunities. I am really looking forward to 2013 and what may happen. My husband has given me a year to make it work, so fingers crossed that I can do that. I am excited about the following year and what possibilities there might be.
Happy New Year and may 2013 be prosperous and wonderful for you.
Thank you as well for all your support in 2012 and I hope you will continue that into 2013.
happy new year!
Thanks Derrick
I love your photos and the deep emotion each one seems to show. They are raw and vivid making each one truly interesting. Also, thank you so much for always liking my posts. Happy New Year!

Really enjoy your photography, especially like the first two here. Love your technique /enhancement use. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks bk
It’s so great, really great, Leanne, to see all these beauties in one post! Glad you did this!
Thank you so for the marvelous year…and the lovely friendship we’ve developed across these thousands of miles! Thanks also for showing me a part of Australia I knew very little about…THAT has truly ‘broadened my sphere of knowledge’, a good thing to me!
As New Year’s Day has already gone by over there, I’ll simply wish you prosperity and health for the rest of your life!!! 2013 will be a stepping-stone (for both of us!) to greater work…I can feel it in these ‘old bones’!!!
Thank you 1000, glad you like what I have done as well. Thank you for your friendship as well. Making friends has not always been easy for me. You have broadened mine as well.
Happy new year to you as well. I am so far behind, please forgive me.
Not to worry, Leanne…I’m just happy you didn’t suffer sunstroke, or severe dehydration!
Thank you for all your inspiration this year!
YOu’re welcome mydayscancount

Beautiful photographs. The one with the sheep, is that real?
Thanks, no, the sheep aren’t real, well they are, but I put them on the bridge. I love that image, for me it the beginning of something new.
Yeah it’s pretty cool.
Im an Interior Design student so I often photoshop people and animals onto my renderings. :
What a cool challenge! and amazing pictures
Thank you holidaycontradiction
A great set, Leanne. Happy New Year!

Fantastic shots. Congrats on making it one year. That’s awesome.
Thank you Sylvia
what a great capture of your year’s best work (or at least your last few month since I have been following you.) Good luck with your endeavors. This lady seems to have made a business out of selling her teaching services online. http://www.kimklassencafe.com/thecafe Thought it might be helpful to you (or maybe not.) Happy New Year, Leanne.
Thank you Sheila and thanks for the link, I have bookmarked it.
What beautiful photos!! You have an amazing talent! Can’t wait to see what you do this coming year!

I have only been a part of your year … but I’m will be around for the whole of this year. Some of your photos here I know very well – and if I can have a pick .. it will be the sheep’s on the bridge. Happy to us both.
Thank you Viveka, I really appreciate your support.
Amazing photography! Wishing you a wonderful year!
Thank you Paula
They are all beautiful! Happy New Year – I’m sure it will bring you great success!!
Thank you Jennifer.
Amazing photos. I love the architecture shots, but the reflection in the bike helmet is absolutely incredible, and a really striking shot. Beautiful!
Thank you Jeremy
Thank you for your inspiration! I’ve decided to do 365 this year (2013) for the same reasons, to learn more and to put pressure on myself. Your photography is truly stunning.
Good luck with your challenge, and thank you Diana
It’s been an incredible year hasn’t it?! Reading your blog has been interesting not just for the images but seeing your journey into finding your place in the world and being able to do what you love and are so good at! It’s been a rollercoaster ride for sure but you have definitely triumphed!
I’ll look forward to the places I’ll get to see through your eyes this year.
What a lovely thing to say, thank you so much saymber.
Congratulations on some great shots throughout the year and for managing a post a day. I struggle for time posting once a week so don’t understand how a post a day is possible!
We all do what we can Noeline, not sure how it will go this year. Thank you.
cool, Leanne!
Thanks naokeren

I am new to blogging and have found it personnally very freeing. I am so glad to have found your blog! It helps to inspire me every day. Thank you so much!
Thank you Michael, what a lovely and wonderful thing to say.
I cannot begin to leave a comment on your photos because it would take me so long to post something; every shot deserves many accolades! Your command of this art form is simply stunning. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I also have to thank you for making the effort that you do to post something everyday.
Thank you so much April, that is wonderful to hear.
Great work Leanne
Thank you Mark.
i really enjoy the image from inside the abandoned building.
Thank you, that is one of my absolute favourites.
These are ALL exquisit, Leanne. They should sell. I can’t believe with as many comments and likes that you are not crazy busy with customers. I’m going to check out some stuff when I finish browsing.
It would be nice if they did, but I am starting to think my stuff must be so bad, no one ever buys it or pays me for anything. Life sucks sometimes, my whinge is over. Thank you so much for your support Marsha, I really do appreciate it.
As I was looking at them, I was wondering the price. I also wondered if you might be selling just one picture or the pack. Finally, when you buy the picture, are you ordering large, hangable prints, note cards, puzzles, calendars, mugs? I may have just overlooked stuff because I don’t always focus even when something is staring me right in the face. So don’t give up hope.
Your eye for lighting, composition, subject matter, emotion, etc., all fuse to produce outstanding photos. Excellent work.
What a lovely thing to say, thank you so much Minnesota Prairie Roots
Gorgeous! Love them all.
Thank you theprojectboard
Oh these are all SO good Leanne!!! It just makes me want to learn from you so badly!
I’m glad you posted these as some of them I had not seen before… You’re such a fantastic photographer!
Thank you Keli, that is so nice of you to say.
Incredible photos Leanne – you have a very good eye for images and the skills to go long with it. Happy New Year!
Thank you rehabgadgets2go

Wonderful images, Leanne – love the sheep!
Thank you very much bluebee
Love the sheep too, well done for hanging in there, I am going to give it a miss this year though!
So nice to see all these great photos of yours again, Leanne. Looking forward to many more in the coming year – i wish you a Happy 2013
Thanks Truels. Happy New Year to you as well.
Wonderful photographs. Wishing you a very successful 2013. I’m sure you’ll do it.
What a great set of photos! I have to admire your ability to capture such a wide range of subjects.
The sheep, the stairwell, the flowers – the second to last photo – of course they’re all great but those are my favs. What an opportunity that you’ve been given a year to make photography work. It’s so competitive – I hope you realize that you’ve already made it work, every time you enjoy your own images, and also when you share them. And thank you for visiting and liking over at my blog, too.
Sounds like you have a very sweet husband
I was so excited to see some of your shots from last year, you had so many amazing shots captured. I can’t wait to see what you come up with this year and hear more about your experiences
Thank you for being there for me this whole last year! I feel like I’ve grown so much, and if it wasn’t for amazing people like you encouraging me, I probably wouldn’t have thought I was good enough to continue. Thanks Leanne!
I don’t know that I would call him sweet, but it is good of him. Thank you Amanda, I look forward to seeing what you do as well.
