It is back to the Mallee today, and back to the house from the day before yesterday. The image for today is taken from a distance. When I was taking photos of the old chook house, I realised that I could see the house through the trees in the distance, so I took a quick photo. I love the rolled up tin in the foreground and then the house further away.
Can you believe that side of the house. Looks like a massive patch up job. I do like how you can see the clothes line, or rather what is left of it. My grandmother had a clothes line like that, very strange.
I processed this a little different. I did it the same as the others, but I put more masks on it, and took some stuff away from some of the layers. I started with a 4 image HDR, and there on the right is the first of those images, the one the camera thinks is the right exposure.
I have done nothing to that image, it really is in its totally raw state. I couldn’t be happy with that image because the sky is gone. It is a very pale image, and if I wasn’t doing a HDR then I would have a lot of work to do on this image. I do a lot of work anyway, but I would have had to do a lot more.
Today sees me feeling a lot better, and I really wanted to thank everyone for their warm wishes. I am so far behind with all your comments and I am hoping to catch up tomorrow. I am also way behind on looking at everyone’s blogs, getting to some, but not others. It has been a very busy couple of days, along with not feeling well. Please be patient with me.
