In yesterdays post I spoke about how I was in Whittlesea photographing a cycling event. I don’t get to do these very often, but yesterday I was photographing a recreation ride, the Whittlesea Challenge. It is a wonderful event and my husband, Dave, also rode it. My laptop is very busy uploading all the photos to my website, so I can’t get on it to do some photos for you today, so here are some photos from the cycling.
It is unfortunate today, but there really isn’t any time to talk about the images, I hope you will forgive me, but I need to get to the hospital, my daughter has been readmitted, so enjoy some images from the Whittlesea Challenge.

Good photos – especially the third one, with the misty hill behind the riders.
Tell Your Girl that somene half-a-world away is thinking about her, too…
Thanks Marie, I quite liked it too. Great when an image works.
I will tell her, she will like that. Thanks again.
I love that third shot , although I wouldn’t want to be the riders – that hill looks steep. Thinking of you and your daughter.
I think that third shot is going to be a popular one. It wasn’t really steep, especially not compared to the hill in the second and the last, it was a baby. Thanks Liz, she is going to be fine. Time, she just needs time.
I also like the 3rd shot, but I like the second to last one a lot too. Hope your daughter is OK?
Yes, the third one is popular, I have to admit it is a nice shot, great scenery. My daughter will be fine, they just wanted her in to keep an eye on her, and to get her back on track. Thanks.
I love seeing the reaction on these peoples faces when they see you lol! Really good pictures
Recreation rides are really nice to photograph, they ride past saying hello, and you can see the joy on their faces, you really don’t get that with racing, some people wave or stick their tongue, but most are thinking too much about the race to think about me. Thanks Amanda.
