More on that Cathedral from the Field Trip

Organ Pipes

I have a few more photos to show you from the Cathedral.

This image is very similar to one I showed yesterday.  I think this one is different in that it shows what is in the distance far more,  you can see the details.  Again, I took this image with the camera on the ground.  I was doing that quite a bit.

This is the view from the back of the pews.  I did some extra work on this image and added a bit of a glow.  Not sure if it works, but sometimes you just have to try things and put it out there.

The Organ pipes, I don’t know why I had never photographed them before.  I have no idea where they are played, but there are the pipes for them.  Quite a difficult image to get because it was quite dark there.  I put my camera on top of piano and used the piano like a tripod.  Not the best, but it is okay.

I thought this image was interesting.  Most of the ceiling, the floors, the walls, everywhere is so ornate, but then up near the front is this hole in the ceiling and it is kinda boring.  There is no real decoration around it.  It really seemed out of place.

Hope you are still enjoying the field trip, still lots more to show, but tomorrow we leave the Cathedral and move onto some other things.
