Sometimes you just have to get a different perspective.  On my last trip to the Mallee I took some photos of a subject that I had taken before, but this this time I was a lot further away and I had to decide how I would take a photo, one for being so far away, and two so it wouldn’t look the same as every other shot I have taken.  This is what I came up with.

I don’t know that it is that interesting as an image, you can decide that.

I spent all weekend taking photos of people on bikes going around around in circles.  Great catching up with people.  I copped some flack from some for not being there the weekend before to take photos of the Omnium.  They are nearly always people who never buy photos from me, I don’t know, do people still think I get paid to go these events?  Would be nice if I did, but the reality is, if people don’t buy photos I don’t get paid.  I can’t believe after doing this for 3 years, people still think like that.  My whinge for the day.
